Here's a suggestion:
How about everyone places their full name, City & State in their signature so we all know who and where everyone is from.
This site is HUGE (779 registered & growing)now and even I can not remember where everyone is from and what their name is.
Just a suggestion.
Of course MOST respect will be given to those who would like to remain anonymous.

I have no objections other than it makes everyone's signature take up more space adding pages to long threads. In my own case my handle, "remery" is my name Robert Emery and my home Darien, Illinois is in my profile. If being more voluminous does not bother others, I'll go with the flow.

I thought Daniel was gonna add a city/state deal underneath our handles over to the left -- that wouldn't take up more space.

I will try to make my signature fit into 1 line. This way it would not take toomuch extra space.

I like the idea of having the option for this info to show up on the left, under your name, or Admin. can just make it REQUIRED to put at least your city and state in your profile when you join.

But I do admit to having a vasculum (no that's not a male operation, it's a metal box for collecting plant specimens ;)). On the other hand, I do have a well-tuned Stihl 0.012, which definitely takes me out of the tree hugger category. Hmm.

It would be cool to know if any of the mdx's I see around town also frequent this site. So if this is a poll, my vote would be to include at least city and state with signature, if possible. |
