After a thorough Pyr Review he knows what "MDX" stands for!

My Dog's Xcited

My Dog's Xstatic
Remery,

That's adorable. The day after I got my MDX I took my dog to town. We have a Brindle Boxer, and he loved it too. I'll have to take a picture and show you.

Very cute and LARGE. I printed this out for Max (my maltese) and he was very impressed. Noticed the name "Bully" on my print out. Max, this is Bully...Bully this is lunch. :)

DMor,
My only cat that is actually smaller than your Maltese is also named Max. His other plumper cat bros are Spyder, Rocky and of course Bullwinkle (Bully) the photogenic one. And if your ever want your MDX to be white, just borrow Bully for a week and his shedding will do it for you.:D:D:D
Cute Pooch!

I am actually justifying my MDX purchase because my dog needs an SUV. I currently have an Acura sedan which I have found impractical since the arrival of my Akita. She can't wait for her truck to arrive!

Akitas have fairly short legs and if you plan to transport your pooch in the cargo area you might want to get a dog ramp. Pyrs have long legs but ours doesn't jump that well and the back ledge is fairly high so I ordered a 70" foldable dog ramp that has traction material on it so the dog won't slip. Check out this web site if you are interested:

Thanks for the ramp information. I was thinking that a ramp might be a good idea. Does the ramp rub on the paint?

No, it has a rubber serated surface that rests against the bumper or cargo deck so everything is protected. The ramp is all plastic and does not provide as much pooch traction and I was hoping but my dog did not slip going up but going down he did a bit. The nice thing is it folds in half and will fit in the cargo area on its side perpendicular to the second seat so plenty of room for both pooch and ramp. The folded ramp could also go on the floor in front of the second seat if there were no passengers. I ordered it last Saturday and it arrived Friday.
I love dogs !!!!

But I think if I had a dog that shed on my ebony int., I would have a nervous breakdown. LOL !
I hate that fact that you can see lint all over the place with ebony. Ebony still rocks, wouldn't trade it for the world !

Happy MDX-ing !
:D

Cute dog remery !
It would appear that dogs like all makes of SUV, enough to occasionally take the wheel - at least judging by this totally unposed picture taken in Victor, Colorado on our recent trip.

Roadrunner,
Great pic but my Pyr doesn't have his driver's permit yet so that's why he sits in the back!!:D:D

So remery, does the front of your car lift up when your pyr hops in, or did you get the extra heavy shocks for hauling him around? And did you have to get the engine cooling system with that? :D:D:D

No, it just goes thud!!! The reason I got the hitch is to keep the trany cool when pooch hauling and in case he wants to bring a few of his Pyr group along I can hook up my neighbor's horse trailer and then there's plenty of room for the whole herd!:D
Wow, talk about pyr-pressure! :D:D:D

May be you can find some anti-skid decals for the ramp, unless your dog likes to dance. I will probably get the ramp as well. Thanks for the advice.

I tried to get our picture on this post, but it's in the gallery. I'm a little slow. Maybe someday I'll understand this computer stuff.

Linda,
Thought I would help you out a little bit on this one. By the way, nice looking pooch (I am of course referring to the one with the short ears sitting in the middle!:D:D)
Bob

Yep that's me, our 3 year old dog, Diamond (I didn't name him) and my 8 year old daughter Karlee.

I wish I could have done that. I had a better one of us in front of the MDX. I'll keep trying later when we have a better picture. Thanks alot remery, I couldn't have done it without you.

Be careful what you ask for

Bully's Lunch :)

No, a dog that size would only be a snack! Surprised you don't have a velcro sweater on the littly guy so he sticks securely to the sheeps instead of using one of those doggie harnesses!!:D:D Does he know how to use the Navi yet to find the closest PetsMart? If not, you have show him the manual!!
It looks like you have a seat cover on your seat. Is that just for your dog or do you have it on both seats?

No matter what remery says, your puppy is adorable.
