Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good installer in the NY area who can help me with Sub/encolsure installation, etc?
I prefer Queens or Long Island.

What are you refering to when you say "Sub/enclosure installation" ?? If refering to car audio and subwoofers ( cabinet making custom) , and car alarms. I know an excellent one in Lynbrook, Long Island on Merrick Road. Ask for John the owner and tell him Paul from AcuraMDX.org recommended you, he does an outstanding job. He has an excellent reputation in the industry and does custom work all over the country. Here is his phone number. You will not be disappointed with him. The shop is called "Ultra Sounds" He does all types of custom auto work.

Funny that you mentioned that.
My girlfriend had to have her car alarm fixed and by chance stopped by Doren's. She was so impressed, she urged me to give them a try.
So I had them install a bull bar, rear bumber guard, light guards in the MDX and a Sub and amp in my Maxima.
Great people. Great work. Great prices. I think I found my installer!!!

A good installer can give you exactly what you want in the MDX. I have a Boston Pro 10" sub in the factory location in a custom fiberglass box. No modification was necessary to the visible factory interior. It even uses the factory grill cover. The Alpine MRD500 mono amp fits nicely in the headrest storage area, along with two other amps and a capacitor. Completly stealth and the sound is fantastic. Good luck. |

I just got my 05 MDX/ Nav. Im thinking about getting a Clifford alarm install by Doren. For those who went to Doren, what alarm did you put in?
