More important: Which Bond actor was the best portrayal of Bond, James Bond?
Sean Connery defined the role. He's still the best IMHO. Suave, worldly, just cool. Even with very old stunts rather than CGI.
Roger Moore was the worst: He played a panty-waisted woosie.
The dark-haired Scotsman, (I don't know the name) was second worst- simply because his brutality was not Bond.
And Pierce Brosman, contrary to my first impressions, has turned out to be a close second to Sean Connery. He's a different Bond, but he is Bond, James Bond. |

I concur Shootist-
Sean Connery not only is a Knight now in England but a great 007.
Pierce Brosnan is impressive as he continue to be Bond. As he matures...I take him more seriously.
Roger Moore on the other hand is....a Band-Aid between Connery and Brosnan.
Here is a quiz...which Bond movie did it featured a really beautiful blonde BOND Girl and in reality the Bond girl is actually a post op transexual? (*HINT: he actually kissed her/him.) |

Ahem, ahem . . . Connery IS the Scotsman! (and yes, the Best Bond)
The dark haired mug is not Scottish, but a Sassenach frae south o' the border.
Brosnan is doing a very credible job as Bond. So I guess we agree, but Sean is a native of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. He does not reside in England, rather he shares his time between his home town and some tropical island so as to avoid the high taxes in the UK. When he was knighted, the Queen actually came to Edinburgh to knight him because he would not go to Buckingham Palace in London. He wore formal Highland Dress (Kilt, Sporran, Prince Charlie jacket, and black tie) for the occasion. |

| All the men that played Bond seemed so static over the years. It is time they find someone to play the character other then a middle-aged white guy. The last Bond movie really stunk. |
