I took my wheels off my MDX to clean the backside and inspect the suspension parts and I found a small 1mm by 4mm hole in the backside of my wheel casting. Looks like a defect in the casting process. I poked at the hole with a metal pin and found it to be about 2mm deep. I'm very dissapointed and will bring this up to the dealer when I bring my MDX in for its first service. I now have about 3100 miles on it. I have also now noticed the infamous thud when I enter a drive apron that is somewhat steep relative to the roadway crown, otherwise I never hear the thud. Anyway, just thought I'd share this. I'll post the dealers response after I bring my MDX in.
