| How often do you PROGRAM a destination into your Navigation system? I know a lot of people use their's daily; but using it as an aide and programming a destination is not the same thing. |

| Use it about 3 times a month to get to places I know, just looking for the quickest route, and 1 or 2 times a month to get to places I don't know. Also use it to show friends how cool it is. |

| I've probably used mine well over 40 times in the year since I've owned it. Can't say that it's used weekly however, my home area is not mapped. Gets a lot of use use when I take trips. |

My wife uses it a lot. . pretty much to get anywhere. She's not great with directions and new to the area. I also use it a lot b/c we do real estate investing and its great for finding houses all over Metro LA!
I have found it makes me a bit "dumber" as when people ask "oh, where's the house you looked at?" And I'm like "Uh, dunno, the Navi got me there. " |

| I would have guessed the majority of members would actually program a destination 1-3 times a month (the middle two choices) - I am surprised at the percentage of weekly programmers. |

I use it a lot on my "meals on wheels" day, and also use it for short trips to the beach and such. I just programmed a trip I'm taking tomorrow night so it will be in my "previous destinations" file and I won't have to do much to plug it in.
I like having a programmed trip - it helps keep me focused and mentally awake, comparing the actual miles driven and the MDX's predicted time remaining (it's never been right yet for a trip over 50 miles). |

You didn't have a choice for "daily" or I would have checked that. I use my Nav system constantly.
Why? Well, it's fun technology, but what I really find is that I can concentrate on my driving without worrying about how to get there. |

As I have already said I am very surprised that the majority of users actually PROGRAM a destination into the Navi as frequently as weekly - The Poll is NOT asking how often one answers YES to the Navi Disclaimer and turns it on. I use the Navi almost Daily as well, however I do not Program a destination nearly as often. |

When you write "program," if you mean finding a destination and having the Nav system calculate a route, then I, for one, do it several times a day. I even use the Nav system to take me places to which I know how to travel.
As for clicking "Accept," every time I start the engine... Start engine, click "Accept," press "Map" and drive around with the Map on, unless I've calculated a route. |
