Last night the family and I had to run to Babys'r'us over in College Point, Queens for some much needed Huggies diapers and some formula for the baby:p .

Upon entering the parking lot in front of Baby's r' us I noticed two silver 2002 X's parked side by side. Now of course I had to park next to them just to see how it would look. It was a very pleasing sight, unfortunately I didnt have my digital camera to show you all pics. But it was cool anyway!!
I did speak with one of the owners and I felt like we were family, like we have known each other for so so long.
I guess we all have many things in common now....Mi familia!!

And you didn't have a digital camera?!

No unfortunately not, it was at home. I should make it a must when I go out with my X.

Hopefully you told them about this board (if they didn't already know about it).

I had a similar experience the other day....I was at a light, and on 2 other roadways (served by the light, only one side moves at at time) were Xs...all in different colors. Mine is Havasu Blue, one was Black and the third was silver. From the rims they all looked like 2003 models...

There was no way I could have taken a picture, but this made me wonder that the X is becoming more and more common on the road these days !

And of course there was this one time in Hamden, CT where I was in a drive thru line at McDonalds and there were 2 other Xs ahead of me !

Oh yeah, this reminds me: when I Google 'mdx forum', this site is nowhere to be found on the first or second pages of hits.

Google search

You know HammerMDX I can't seem to open the file up with the org cards. Here at work I dont have the right things to open it installed and we are not allowed to install new things on here.
So I'll try and find a way to open it from home.

Thanks

toXornottoX,
Babiesrus, huh. Call me next time. You can have 4 SS X's in a row. :-)
BTW, how can you tell they are 2002 or 2001 X's? Look at the VIN?

Easiest way to spot an 01/02 is the different rims but you can spot one while moving cause the ACURA nameplate on the hatch door is smaller than the 03. (IMHO the small one is better looking too;) )

Once I got out my X I looked at the SS X closest to me and saw that it was a 2002 by the tags. Then the owner of the other SS X came out and he told me his was also a 2002. He told me the way to spot them is from the rims. Other wise its pretty hard to tell.

Actually, I believe they are the same size. They are a slightly different design with the 01/02 partially painted body color while the '03 is all chrome.

Even though I have an '03, I tend to agree with you. The partially painted one is better looking. When the car is moving, that's what I look for to tell the years apart.

When the car is moving, I always try to open their doors and look for the fancy new door sills on the '03.

It hasn't worked yet, though. So I drag race them, and see if my engine has 20 more horsepower than theirs.

When parking my '03 X next to an '01/'02 X at the service dept, I also noticed that the attenna on my '03 stands more upright than that of the '01/'02.
