It's not really "open", unless you are referring to not having to log on each time you fetch a page from the server, but cookies solve that. You re just looking at the last page you fetched from the server. You still need to refresh the page if you want to be updated as to any new posts. This server does not dynamically feed pages or "push" data to those who have logged on. |

I do it when I have time. In average, I checked out new messages every couple of hours, or more often when I am free from work. Since I have become a member, Acuramdx.org has developed from a MDX question specific forum to a much broader interst discussion forum covering any issues that are intersted to our members.
Anyone knows how to write and send reply to Acuramdx.org from a different computer than the home based PC for which you have initially registerd for your Acuramdx.org membership? This happens in my work place PC which appears that I cannot write or send replies to new messages in Acuramdx.org, instead, I have to wait until I return home from work to send my comments from my home PC. :confused: |

Huh? Just log in and make sure you have enabled cookies. You can post/reply from anywhere. I do it from 3 different 'puters. |

I'd have to agree that this is easily one of the most addictive sites.
I'm not checking it 10+ times a day because my job is not desk-tethered (I drive to see clients). But when I do check (4-6 times a day), there's usually something like 137 new posts to read. And I read almost all of them.
So for me, it'a not really a question of how often I check in, but how many hours per week I spend here. |
