Listen, when I was a kid, my parents never brought me to the pediatrician except for an annual checkup. One thing I remember though was that my mother, rather than giving me Tylenol, would bundle me up in layers of clothes and "sweat" the fever out. Funny thing is, it always worked.
I tell my wife, who's an RN, that we should just sweat the fever out. She looks at me in a funny way and says, "That's why you've lost brain cells."
Motrin children's formula is working pretty well. The wife wants to bring the kids for antibiotics, which I am really against. Let her body build up its own natural defenses. |

| LL - you hit the nail on the head. A fever is the bodys way of raising its temperature to fight disease. Let the fever run its course and all should be good - unless the fever gets too high. I hope shes feeling better and that you're all getting some sleep. Good luck. |
