| Took a drive this weekend to Lake Berryessa (Near Napa). Wasn't paying attention to the temp guage because in was nice in cool in the MDX. Got out of the X for a picnic and it was burning hot. Went back to look at the outdoor temp guage and it read 111 degrees (F). This is the hottest I've seen it go. What is the highest temp you've seen? I should have taken a picture. |

| Thanks must have missed it. When I tried to edit it wouldn't allow me to put it in. |

| I saw 111 on the thermometer yesterday:eek: I was in heavy traffic on I-10 on the way to an Astros game at 6:30 PM. Houston set a record with a 104 recorded yesterday at the airport. It was still reading 97 on the way home after the game at 10:30 PM. |

| 109 in Dallas Wednesday. 113 is the record. No breeze and just plain hot. The X had the exact same reading as the weather service. |

We have had over 17 consecutive days of 100+ temps here in the cenrtal valley, with108 being the hottest I recall seeing in this recent stretch. It has cooled down now to the 90's, but Joe the Weatherman says we go back up into another hot stretch come Sunday. :31: |

I also live in Plano and concur with jnk_tx. My gauge also said 109.
The hottest I have seen on the temp gage was 116 when I was in Salina, KS a couple weeks ago. We stopped there driving to Denver. The actual "official" temp was 113 per the news. |
