Which ski rack is that on the factory crossbars? Is it the Thule with the FatMouth clamps?

That rear bar is really cool!

Tim,

I have a few questions:

- Who manufactures these?
- Will they also be available in black?
- Are front and rear bars the same diameter (the front looks thicker)?
- Does the thinner cross-brace on the front bar have any tabs to attach auxiliary lights?
- What is the approximate cost to ship these to CA?

Thanks.
hondacuraworld
- Who manufactures these? Not sure of the actual manufacture to be honest.
- Will they also be available in black? Yes :)
- Are front and rear bars the same diameter (the front looks thicker)?

I'll find out, this just came together over the last day or two
- Does the thinner cross-brace on the front bar have any tabs to attach auxiliary lights?

Yes! :)

- What is the approximate cost to ship these to CA?
Free! :D

I believe it's Tal & Hadas we show on another post. Auto Seattle carries a lot of their 'stuff'. Good quality apparently.
I wonder if bra installation or removal is greatly hampered by a front brush bar? Anybody know?

Maybe they should just make a bar bra to keep it clean :D

That's the one. How do my prices compare with others you've seen on the net?
kudo
Price is about the same with AutoSeattle I think, $250 + 11 shipping.

HondacuraWorld web site reads: Custom manufactured aftermarket chrome grille guard for Acura MDX. Durable design with 3" gauge pipe. Drop shipped from manufacturer
How much extra does it cost to NOT have it dropped when it is shipped?

I have to admit that IF I had a rear bar installed I would not have TWO ugly slef inflicted GOUGES in my rear bumper cover...

Does anyone have a really good pic of a UPS driver tearing the hell out of a package? I want to set it as the pic for my desktop :D

But would you have "TWO ugly slef inflicted GOUGES in my rear" bar?

...of built it "audio feedback". The garage door whacks into that and the CLANG will have me reaching for the reverse button FAST FAST FAST.

Something also tell me that even the most expensive plating shop (to replate the bar) would be WAY CHEAPER than replacing the urethan bumper cover and having it repainted...

And if it were stainless vs. chrome, all the better, no?

Tim ... thanks for having a sense of humor ... srpbep [aka Steven]

PS ... I must be paying you extra because all my orders from you have all arrived in one piece!! So, unfortunately [??], I can not provide you with the requested picture.

1. Does the rear bar mount to the frame where the hitch installs? And if so, is it correct to assume you can't have hitch AND rear bar?

2) Would you be able to still install the front bra between the bumper and the front bar?

thanks..
hondacuraworld
Excellent questions :)

I've put a call in to my supplier, and I'll let you know the result when my call is returned.
Wazowski
Is this the same bull bar that perk had installed on his MDX? It sounds like perk had a bad experience with his bull bar in this thread . :(

perk
Yep. That is exactly the same bar that I installed on my X. Avoid it entirely unless you only want it only for looks and never plan to actually bump into anything with it.
Captain MDX
I don't like both of the bars. They look too fat.
hondacuraworld
My rep is going to be calling me back later today. I'll bring this to his attention and see what comes of it. I'll be posting the results of our conversation, and thank you very much for the heads up.
