Anybody with a Helms guide?

What is F-Can? (Fast-CAN?) no help from Google...

On the Nav diagnostics screen I selected F-Can and it shows:

Error active
Eng 12C 224

Is this a place to find engine error codes?
Does anyone else have an error code?
What does this code mean?

I am hopeful it just means the emissions system has not calibrated yet (only 500 miles on the car)
csimo
F-CAN stands for Fast Controller Area Network and is one of the standard ways automobiles use to transfer data between processors on their data networks. It runs at 500Kbps.

I'm not a service tech of any kind, but I'm going to try and help.

The code you give (Eng 12C 224) is a F-CAN error. The problem I think is that Honda doesn't list things in the service manual by F-CAN errors, but by DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) errors. You need either a PGM Tester or use the HDS (Honda Diagnostic System) to turn the F-CAN error code into a DTC error code.

It seems that the screen on the NAV system that provides F-CAN error codes is of no use at all.
