I just visited MetraOnline and the home page shows a pic of a kit for the MDX. I could not find any info on it but, maybe it is coming soon. I sure hope so. Here is the link.

Good news. I just ordered the kit from my local installer. It is supposed to be here tomorrow. It is going to cost me around $30 for the kit. I am hoping to try it out tomorrow night and hopefully have pics later this week. I for one, am pretty jacked about it. I have been waiting on a kit since we got our X.
BTW...The kit part number is 99-7866. I got it from Metra this morning. |

| I'm also in the process of ordering one...my retailer guesses it will come with a black plastic finish, so it will have to be painted. I installed all my equipment months ago and have been postponing manufacturing a custom faceplate, hopefully, this will make things a lot easier than starting from scratch. I'm working with a 1/2 DIN sized equalizer installed underneath a DIN sized head unit, so I'll probably have to modify the faceplate a bit. I'll also post my opinion on this product as soon as I receive it. |
