| This is probably a stupid question, but I have failed in finding a way to reset the clock in our touring/navi MDX. The manual explains the procedure for the base model, but remains silent about the touring/navi model. This is a very strange omission in their manual coverage, and if other people can't figure it out either, then in ergonomics as well. Many thanks for your advice. |

It's set automatically via the GPS satelites -- it'll take about 10 minutes for it to change if you switch time zones. I don't believe it changes to daylight savings automatically tho' -- that you can get to in the Setup->Other->Clock page.

| I kinda hoped my $2,000 Navi could account for daylight savings time but it didn't. Didn't have to read the manual and just pushed the setup button next to the clock and noticed time zone and + and - buttons for hours. Pushed time zone and it only registered standard time but pushing the + buttom for hours did the job. In my book that pretty intuitive. I thought somebody posted that the GPS satelite has time accurate to 40 billionth of a second (but not if the hour isn't right!). Just a very teensy whine but one no less.;) |
