I'm taking delivery of my 03 redrock Touring/Nav tomorrow. They installed the chrome side steps as a part of the deal, but they retailed (at the dealer) for $624 INSTALLED. There are roughly 4 gazillion bolts to hold the side steps in place- whoa, mama! |

I thought a ton of folks would take adavantage of this -- that $624 still assumes about $90/hr labor & two hours labor. I think I can handle six brackets per step with six bolts each for that kind of money... At least your dealer is in the "ball park" -- I;ve had dealers quote their "list price" for the Chrome Side steps at DOUBLE THAT :eek:
Even with dickering I couldn't get even the parts guys at local Acura stores to come within two hundred of Tim's price... |

| Tim, what are the chances of a deal like this happening again in the near future? My girlfriend is only 5'1" and she says I need some chrome side steps or else no more short skirts. ;) |
