If I watched one I would be sick immediately, the ads alone make me feel queasy....
I have to admit I was addicted to police pursuits for a while, but now they are all reruns.
It's amazing this new crap actually draws so many people. Given the choice I would rather mow my lawn. And that is far from my favorite chore.
Give me a good movie, Discovery show, or robotic competitions any day of the week! |

| Ditto for me too. I cant stand them. Damn I even hate TLC and Discovery. Used to be you could watch those channels and learn something not its a fricking Story channel and reality Channel. Thank God for PBS. |

Nah, the restaurant is too cerebral. We've actually become hooked on Paradise Hotel. At first we thought it was a bunch of social misfits, but they're actually sociopaths. Fox hasn't announced what the prize is, or even what the game really is, but for the good of mankind the game should end with the involuntary committal and mass sterilization of the participants.
We're also watching Big Brudder.
The reality is that there's nothing good on TV, especially during the summer. IMO.
"The Plumber"? Hmmm...would there be a "crack cam"? |

Yea, I'd have thought Bum Fights and Fox would be a match made in heaven.
Fox the first to televise executions? Good call on that one. Trashiest reality TV + one of the most conservative news organizations = 'lectric Chair Monday, opposite MNF.

The only show I watch religiously is CBS "Sunday Morning", although I've been on an "Everybody Loves Raymond" kick lately :)
As many of you know, one of my hobbies is restoring vintage televisions, and about the worst thing after getting one of these old relics playing again is the fact that there's nothing to watch on them! :3:
Half of the stupid things don't get UHF :confused: , but I still enjoy them nonetheless. |

What's most aggravating about so many of the reality shows is the lip-biting, weepy, soap-opera angle to target lip-biting, weepy, soap-opera-addicted viewers. Even "Last Comic Standing" spends the first 50 minutes with inter-personal struggles instead of just getting to the f**king stand-up routines!
BTW, the retired FBI agent on Big Brother is a high school classmate of my mom's husband from West Chester, PA. He must be the token Old Dude on the show.
BTW2, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is way too funny, probably because it's NOT weepy soap opera. |

Thank God for sports indeed. I think watching sports is the only reason I own a TV. At least football season is less than a month away. A good topic for the next poll; Which do you perfer watching on TV, college or pro football?
Reality shows are a scary indicment of American soceity. Networks love them though because of the low production costs. |

Aside from The Practice, Law and Order and CSI, all I ever watch is sports. ESPN in the morning with a hot cup of Joe. . . Doesn't get much better than that! |
