| BSMs may end up being next month, roof rack it seems that we did not long ago, so most likely not till later in the year. |

| That's the nice part.....they come with a preapplied double sided adhesive tape.....simply line up the body templates (included), peel, and stick. About a 15-20 minute job if you stretch it out. |

Tim,
I saw the instructions for putting on the cargo cover. Looks simple. Is it just as easy to take the cargo cover out as I would want to install it behind the second row of seats but I would have to remove it on weekends when my children would occupy the third row. |

Very easy.....it springs in place like a spring loaded curtain rod :)
Takes a few moments to install or move. |

Tim sorry this is slightly off-topic, but I have a question regarding the double sided tape...I recently installed BSM on my X and was not happy with how it was aligned on the doors. So I pulled all the BSM off with the idea to reposition it. I know that once you pull off a piece of molding, you should always replace the adhesive or you run the risk of the molding coming off in the future. Anyway, I removed all the adhesive from the BSM. Only problem is, I can't find any molding tapes that are the same width and thickness as what the BSM came with!!! It is exactly 1" wide and .060" thick. The widest 3M tape I have found is 7/8" which is not enough, and all 3M tapes appear to be .045" thick which is also not enough.
My question is, is it possible to order just the adhesive tape without the BSM, or do you know of a source where I can get this stuff. I hate to spend another $100 on another set of BSM just because I can't find the tape!!

Future tip: use a hairdryer to heat up the glue :)
To be hoenst, I have no clue. Unfortunately the adhesive tape isn't offered seperately. You may have to use a different width and apply it as needed. |
