Now that I have had my MDX for a while, I figure I'll make it's debut tonight. Behold, my ride: It is basically stock, but I have had the front windows tinted to 35%, and have added mud flaps. I will be adding the cargo cover, and air deflector later this week. I have been using Zaino with great results. I have to say, it is a quality piece of machinery.

___And now for a question or two … I see the 35% tint on the fronts. It is illegal here in IL. as I thought it was in MN as well? I will look MN. Laws up in a few myself. With the small gradient from fronts to rears, I don’t think I would be bothered by our local Police. With that being said, it appears to be a very good looking almost OEM color. What brand and/or type of film did your tinter install? That film really looks nice in my eyes.

___According to Do It Yourself Window Tinting.com, 50% on the front windows and 0% on the wind screen is acceptable in MN. Not quite legal as far as the sides are concerned but probably close enough not to get hassled? The wind screen on the other hand … It sure looks nice however!

I'm not sure what tint mfgr the guy at Ziebart went with. When I went in, I told him I wanted to match the rear tint. He said it was 20% and illegal and that 50% was legal. He suggested I go one step outside legal (35%) as I should not get hassled. So far, all of 5 days later, I have seen no officers notice the tint. I'm sure they'd tack on the violation if I was caught doing other things. I don't expect to be bothered though.

| My windshield is not tinted. I read one of the messages from xcel, I thought he mentioned that the wind screen was tinted. I wouldn't do that.:) |
