I have an old set of Boston Acoustic RC Speakers that I'm trying to install into the rear my base 2001. The speakers are much deeper then the stock speakers, and don't fit into the rain guards. Anyone have experience doing this? Did you have to cut the rain guard? There are pretty good instructionson doing front speakers on the site, but i haven't found what I'm looking for for the rear.
BTW, I pluged one speaker in and compared it against the stock speaker, and I heard detail in the music I have never heard before. However, the volume needed to be turned up more. Its was incredible! I can't go back to those nasty muddy stock speakers.
