Edited----To Vote Go To New Poll Now with Multiple Choices (Pick Three):

http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...&threadid=13027

A very popular discussion topic here has been premium/regular gas usage.

I did a search in the "polls" forum and could not find any other polls on which gas MDX owners were using although I seem to recall one from about a year ago. Could be just my imagination or just confusion because of the number of discussions on this topic.

For this poll I though it would be interesting to divide it into 3 categories because I'm guessing that there are many of you that like myself use a variety of octane's when filling up. Sometimes I have bought regular or midgrade although until now I have mostly used premium.

I failed to check multiple choices before submitting this thread. I tried to edit, no luck. Tried to delete so I could resubmit and no luck. Could not delete this thread even though I started it?

BaldEagle, I ran into the same issue when I tried to delte a thread I started about a week ago - even no other posts were there but mine. I had one of the admins delete it. The inability to delete a thread is from the fiasco with the one deleted thread that took out so many post counts a few weeks ago.

I also use Premium 99% of the time - but did try switching during my recent road trip. I used 87, 89, 91 & 93 & discovered that the best mileage was achieved with the highest octane - but based on xcel's terrific experience with 87 octane, maybe my trip experience was a fluke.

Up to now (16,000 miles) I have used nothing but premium gas. In our area that means 93 as there are generally only three grades available at most stations...87, 89 and 93.

After reading some of the recent literature, I am going to start buying the 89 and see what happens. I dont tow and I am not a racer so I suspect that I will see little or no impact.

I always use 87 Octane Regular Gas. It works for me.:4:

That is a new "feature" that arose out of the recent POSTERGATE episode:rolleyes: A moderator can edit your thread to work as you want it to. I'll hold my vote til you get some help.

Could be a new feature or maybe it was that way all along. I know that in the past only moderators could edit a poll, not sure if in the past a poll starter could delete the poll.

I also have withheld my vote till it's fixed.

That's what I get for not paying attention to what I'm submitting. As I was typing up this poll my attention was divided between this forum and the Arnold Swartzenegger press conference that was on the TV above my computer.

:headslap:

Just pm'ed worm to see if he could fix it.

I'll Be Back.

Can't edit the one-choice/multiple-choice component once it's up.

You'll have to start another w/the multiples. Sorry.

I'll close this thread once you start another (and provide a link in a msg here), and will copy the replies/discussion over there.
