| Issues with splash guards

Here's the link to an article posted at vtec.net talking about the damage done to the paint by the splash guards on Honda/Acura Vehicles. Just an FYI for everyone here, and something we should probably keep an eye on. I'm sure ALL owners of Honda and Acura Vehilcles will keep a close eye on this one.

You see what gets trapped by the cladding/wheel opening arches on most domestics!!!
If I wasn't too embaresed to snap a picture I could post the great rusting expanses of my GMC Jimmy {shudder}
You really DO have to make an effort to flush out the salt & grit that will stick to that area -- even if you have a "sports sedan" those fender wells are a magnet for body rot! |
