Hi,
When looking at the Alpine XMA-T200RF user manual on the Alpine site, http://ecominet2.alpine-usa.com/htm...a-t200rf_om.pdf , I'm confused by the installation diagram on page 20.
It shows the unit using the FM Modulator, and I can't seem to figure out which cables would connect to the Blitzsafe adapter.
BTW, great forum . . . long time reader, first post. Finally decided I had to start accesorizing my X.

Not sure I should help a Terp :) being a Duke grad and all. I had the same concern but bought the parts any way. The two Blitzsafe parts connect with RCA cables (not included). The Alpine control panel plugs into the RF modulator which has an AI interface. The Blitzsafe connects to both the RF part and the tuner via AI cables. There is an open connector on the Blitzsafe for an M-Bus ( I think) changer and there is an open AI connector on the tuner for a changer that could be controlled by the Alpine unit. Best I can tell, the RF part just acts as interface for the controller and AI input. The sound is monumentally better with the Blitzsafe by the way. I installed my controller in the cupholder.Alpine Install

OK, so what I think I'm missing is that there's two blitzsafe parts, hadn't seen this in the pictures on other threads, just the one with RCA inputs.
So, if that's the case, still confused where the AI from the blitzsafe connects to the RF. In the picture in the manual, it shows three connections on the RF -
#4 - AUX RCA Inputs
#5 - AI Connector from the XM tuner
#6 - Display connector
Is there an AI connector not shown in this picture?

First, there are two parts for the Blitzsafe, at least the one that has the XM and changer dual input. The RCA inputs are still there on the modulator, and are not used unless you want to hook up the RF modulator thru the antenna input (you can have both). The AI input on the modulator part goes to the Blitzsafe. The tuner connects to the Blitzsafe via an AI cable and the controller connects to the RF modulator. And lastly, the two Blitzsafe parts connect with RCAs. Clear as mud. It all works in the end.
