| Seems hard to lose at that price. Some of you audiophiles please chime in. I'm also interested in your opinions. |

| I believe it is too deep. If I remember, 5 inches is about the max that will fit into the stock location. You might be able to use a thicker adapter plate, but I don't know if the grille would go back on easily. Good luck with your choice!:D |

<< The rebate is for a PAIR and the price is 89.99 for the link above.>>
That's because CC switched the rebate form this morning!. This is certainly going to be interesting for those who purchased it yesterday. The original rebate form did not state a pair so CC may look at the time of purchase compare to when they updated the form. |

According to the rebate center, if you purchased before 10:00am today (8/14) they will honor the rebate on a single purchase. Any purchase after 10:00am will need to be for 2 subs to qualify for the rebate!
I hope some of you got in on the deal, maybe we can get the sub to work.
I am picking mine up this afternoon and will check it out tonight. |

I just called the CC rebate center and the Rep said they are honoring Qty=1 rebates to those who had purchased before 10am, 8/10 , not 8/14. According to them, this was when the typo was discovered and corrected.
Guess I'm still sub shoppin'. |

The error was corrected this morning.
I purchased and printed the rebate last night when there was no indication of a pair requirement.
Here is a copy of the rebate form as seen last night:

| It is too deep. That was the first one that I bought and had to take it back. |

Looks ok to me, I put it in and installed the cover just fine although it is most certainly at the maximum possible, nothing bigger would ever fit! And any ding in the rear fender would hit this puppy for sure!
It does need a thick conversion ring and the little bose Amp barely moves it at all!
For $10 I am not out anything and will probably build a home sub with it or sell it on ebay and get a dual voice coil that is a bit thinner. I am not up to changing out the amps yet. |

The stock amp in useless for a aftermarket sub. I just got around to installing a new amp and JVC sub in a box and it sounds great. I didn't like the rattle from the sub in the stock location.
When I have more time I will build a box that fits over the stock sub location. |

This is only until I have time build a box to fit on the side where the stock sub was. |
