| I installed the cargo liner today (there were some velcro pieces missing--someone at the dealer may have pilfered them). It's all done, but I cannot figure out what the 2x2 inch black velcro pieces are for that are sewn to the top of the liner, about 18 inches apart and roughly centered on the floor area. Anybody have an idea? I can't think of anything that would hook to them, since the protective skirt fastens to the very end of the liner. The instructions do not show this or make any mention. |

| Some of us have puzzled this for a long time (18 months in our case). To the best of my knowledge, no one has yet to offer a logical explanation. |

I had searched the prior threads on this and see the same conclusion. Very weird. Also, as an aside the Acura instruction sheet for the cargo liner also shows fabric cutouts in the floor are, i the center, which of course, are not there as the center is solid fabric. Maybe Tim at HondAcura World has the answer to this riddle. The illustratoin Acura use (and it is shown on the HondaAcura World website) shows a dog sitting in the center, with one of htos squre velcro fasteners showing. |

Maybe the velcro is there to keep pet from shifting during turns? |

Welp,
There are matching Velcro patches on the opposite side.
All I can do with them is to roll back the liner past the rear storage opening.. and secure Velcro to Velcro
i don't think thats what they are there for.
Perhaps they are to attach the Pilot style cargo organizer??
Or mebbe to help keep a dog bed from sliding around??
