Not sure how many know of this feature of Google. You can download a Google Toolbar that is the absolute best. Not only do you have the Google Search engine always on the screen but I just realized that Google offers a pop up blocker built into the toolbar. It isn't enabled by default but can be by clicking the options button of the bar. I have never run a pop up blocker program before but this has worked flawlessly. I realize there are other free pop up blockers but this comes bundled with this awesome toolbar. Just thought I would let those who don't know about it in on this cool feature.

Ditto, works great!

Did you know that your Google Toolbar is also a calculator???? Try typing "5+5". I guess the pop up and calculator are new additions to the Toolbar. I have been using it for a long time now. Just another tidbit.

Yes... its very handy... the latest discovery of mine was the 'right click' option anywhere on screen, that has a google search option. Very efficient...

I have it but I never turn it on. Since you said it blocks pop ups I turned it on immediately.

Yes, I really like the Google one. I am still running my Pop-Up Stopper as well. Not sure if they use the same technology. Anyone know if I am getting any use from having the second one running? The Google one seems to catch most of them - I will try to pay attention any see if Pop-Up Stopper is still getting any.

After running both like you, I found that Google was catching them all and Pop-Up Stopper did not add any additional layer of protection. I un-installed Pop-Up Blocker about 6 weeks ago and Google has been doing a great job.

Thanks - maybe I will do the same.

The pop-up blocker in the Yahoo toolbar keeps track of blocked pop-ups, from which you can select ones to allow.
