Can video be taken out? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am considering an aftermarket VCR or DVD package with a flipdown LCD screen replacing the ceiling light just behind the moonroof. I would like to take out the video package after my lease runs out, so I can install it on the 2005 MDX that will replace my 2001. Does anyone have any experience with how the vehicle looks after taking it out? I don't want to get dinged on excessive wear when I return the leased MDX.
My 6.5" flip down screen was installed WITHOUT removing the 2nd row reading lights. However, it probably has 2 (or 4) screws holding to a metal strip installed above the headliner. Thus, its best to have an audio shop remove it in 3 years and replace the holes with plastic plugs. Then again, the screen only costs $450 and in 3 years will probably cost half that or less. So it may be better to just leave the system in. Perhaps a portable DVD player sitting on the center consol is an alternative.
