Just today I was reading up on wireless. Even though I use it at home and work I had never read much about it. In fact I didn't realize or know about the “hot-spots” around the country. Here is a link that will show more than just Intel's spots.:)

| Damn ... wish they had a hotspot near me ... then I can go outside with my laptop and enjoy the nice weather. :( |

I could not agree more! Considering time zones they should have given us much more notice, and made a bigger deal of it.
They had a potential of more customers if they had.
I have wireless on my laptop, but even then why lug it to Starbucks when I have coffee at home? Granted, for on-the-road people and students, it beats some of those hotel modems. Although more and more are going with DSL and other faster mediums. |

Know about this few day back.
The only spot near my house is starbucks as well. But I drink coffee at home most of time and I already could use wireless in the house. |

Exactly, with so many homes wireless these days, having that capability is really limited to travelers or people who work outside. |
