I just got my transmission replaced on my 2002 MDX. A brief history:
1. Purchase date: Feb, 2002.
2. Nov 2002, noticed a very slow fluid leak, dealer could not locate the source of leak so they powder quoted the area to pin point the leak.
3. Jan, 2003, Leak came back and this time it was diagnosed coming from Trans case at axel seal. Left side seal was replaced.
4. June, 2003...leaking again. Dealer replaced the differential seal or axle spring clip.
5. Sept 2003, we are leaking again...Dealer said they have to replace the transmission.
Can someone provide me the information about warranty on transmission in this situation, Is Acura extending the warranty? I love my MDX but I am concerned. Thanks.:( |
