The silver thing surrounding the headlight reflectors inside the lense got broken from a dirt clod hitting the lense at 60 mph. I'm talking about the part in front of the reflectors, not the part behind the bulbs.
Can the headlight unit be taken apart to replace this or is it sealed? |

The assembly does separate in two halves (after being heated up in an oven at 200 deg for about 10 min), but I believe is only sold as a complete unit. You may luck out at a wrecking yard and buy an undamaged complete unit. |

Check EBay motors.
I have seen head light assemblies there.
