VERY nice truck, i am still a little dissapointed that they made the cool updates this year like a dual exaust and euro tails, when i just got my 03 like 5 months ago, but maybe someone will make knockoffs for us who want the white lights. Something to thing about. Beautuful X though.

THe older ones like like they have a split for rear and front. |

The stereo sounds great. I have not had a chance to compare it to a 2003, but it sounds great. the stack has a brushed look this year. |

The new MDX drives fantastic. I looked at all suv options before I decided on the X. My previous car was a BMW, so I was in the market for something that had the room, and preformed similar to the BMW. The power is excellent. Handling excellent (for an SUV of course). I drove the FX 35 (my wife nicknamed it a "shoe" due to its radical shape looking similar to a shoe). It handled well with quick acceleration, but was very limited in space, had poor rearward visability, and the the seat controls were on top of the seat under your right leg. The BMW X5 was WAY TOO MUCH money for what you get (60K for the 4.4 V8). The MDX, in my mind, was the best choice. Everyone on this forum seems to have the "MDX bug." I know EXACTLY what they are talking about. :) |

The ones with the "split" as you refer to it are the ones that have the RES (Rear Entertainment System). |

I do like the interior items, shift knob, etc. I'd be curious to check out the "improved" leather seats.
The taillights, I'm going to have to see in person, the chrome-ish trim around them looks, well, a bit much, sort of cheap, IMHO. Gotta see it in person to make a call though. |
