timbrwolf9
I paid MSRP for mine.

I traded in my 01 MDX Base/NAVI with Side Steps and 38,000 Miles in like new condition. The dealer took $500 off the $41,745 cost and the gave me $26,000 for my 01 MDX. Not really a great deal, but the old supply and demand. My 01 and my 04 were the first to be sold at the Ocala, FL dealer. I did have a pin stripe and more side steps installed. I want to see and rear window air deflector before I oerder on and install it.

I have taken some close up pictures of the differences in the cars and want to post them, but can not figure out how to post multiple images.
Where and how can I post these pictures and my list for first 5 days impressions?

I got $500.00 off of MSRP ($41,200.00)

I am going to get $1000 off msrp for my 04 Touring Nav. I had a deposit on it for over a month now and the car should be in next week. Because my original delivery date got push back, they are giving me the BSM, All Season mats and wheel locks for an additional $150. The BSM will be installed by the dealer, of course.

BTW, I wrote down Tim's price list for accesories and told them to beat the price. They were only able to do better for the BSM. Everything else, they suggested getting from Tim's because the difference was so much.

I am in the East Coast. Philadelphia/NJ area. I got 3 different dealers to give me at least $1000 off msrp about one month ago.

In the west cost, dealers still charge MSRP. One dealer in Sunnyvale actually asked me to put my name on a waiting list as they only have 2 MDX 04 and it would take 2-3 weeks to get the color that I need. I did't feel it was right to wait for 2004, especially since we waited about 8 months on 2001 to get out SS touring in Sept 2001, which we had to sell last Aug.2002.

We are in the market for 2004, but almost all dealers in the bay area are asking for MSRP.

Any one had any luck getting a real deal in the San Francisco Bay Area? not just few hundreds off MSRP.

I had ordered a Pearl White and stevens creek acura was ready to give me 500$ off MSRP. We didnt like the interior so we didnt take it.
FamilyMDX
MrCool,
Who in Stevens Creek Acura did you talk to?
Thats a good way to start reducing price. At least they are welling to accept the fact that MDX may sell for less than MSRP.
The sales guy at Sunnyvale Acura clearly said that they may discount 1 of 6 MDX2003 that they have but not a "single penny" on 2004.
I almost replied by saying that they will not sell any of these MDX 2004 if they kept this policy, but I thought it is not worth the effort to argue about.

I was dealing with David Mushde.

- chrome mirror covers
- tailgate spoiler
- cargo tray
- wheel locks
$43435 + Tax/Fees

ironically, i happened to be working out in that area yesterday, and decided to just pop in and see what they had in stock. i had absolutely no intention on purchasing right now--really looking for next month into january. dumb luck...they had the right color combination on the lot! pretty good guys--victor love (sales) and dan case (sales manager)

I checked a lot of dealers in the NY area and most are still asking MSRP. I got $500 off from one dealer and got my local dealer to match. Unfortunately, when I got back home the night I signed my deal I found a message from another dealer (who originally wanted MSRP) telling me that they are now discounting $1,000+. I'm trying to see what my local dealer will do to make me happy or I will try to get out of the deal. Either way I will have my MDX in mid December!

You can get a base 2004 between 32500 -33000 in NJ. I just bought a touring for 34,300.

In Chicago, you can get a new 2004 Base for 32,329 (which includes desintation charge and wheel lock nuts). The dealer is Muller's Woodfield Acura in Hoffman Estates. They only have 2 left (black and red) and they want to sell them by Thanksgiving. I found that the other dozen Chicago area dealers were within about $500 of that price as well, but all of them were selling out fast.

My wife and I were going to get one, but we decided to wait a year. Just moved into a new house, so apparently a new dining set is mandatory, but a new vehicle is not.
