| Does anyone know when the 04 model will be available in Canada??? After reading all the 04 post I really want to have a test drive. |

| My 04 silver MDX with Navi and RES arrived at my dealer on Friday night, Oct 17. Saw it on the 18th and having read all the threads this past 5 months, can't wait to have options installed and take delivery. The forum has been a great help to me - knew more than the salesman about the 04.;) |

Cool, so you can finally get navi in Canada. Nice. Do you know if it's the same DVD disk we get in america? |

I believe everything is the same. NAVI and RES are included in the TECH PACKAGE which is an extra $5300 otherwise the car is $50300 CDN for trip computer version. |

| Not sure - the Canadian Navi system is bilingual (can give it commands in French as well as English) but don't know if the DVD will show French equivalents on the screen. |

A few differences between US and Cdn models after a cursory review:
*Two trim levels available in Canada: "MDX" and "MDX w/ Tech Package". Tech package includes Navi (finally!!!) and RES.
* Americans can order Navi alone, Res alone, or both. We can't. It's an "all or nothing" tech package.
* No Redrock Pearl in Canada! We're still getting stiffed on colour choices (maybe if we spelled it like the Americans, we could have the same color choices as they?).
* Prices seem comparable. At a $0.75 US dollar, MDX w/ Tech works out to $56,791 (prices from US Acura site). Acura Canada selling MDX w/Tech for CDN $55,600, + 950 PDI. |

I'm not sure if this actually works but if you only want the NAVI (not RES) and you don't want to spend an extra $5300 just to get the NAVI can you just order a NAVI unit and install it on the original MDX without TECH PACKAGE???

| I pasted by Burrard Acura yesterday and saw a white 04 parking outside and realized I actually have work to do that day :D |

| Dropped by my local dealer and saw the '04 finally :2: I think it looks alot better in person and the pics don't do it any justice - especially the twin exhaust. The leather though is not softer than previous models - bu still nice |
