| I would think the question is justified due to the lower trim under the doors of the 04 compared to the 01-03 models. |

| My dealer said the 04 MDX Side Steps are different from the 01 MDX Side Steps. I had wanted the dealer to remove my old ones and install them on my new 04. The olny difference I can see is the plastic step says "MDX" instead of "Acura". |

So, Does the 2001 side steps fit the 2004 MDX?

You mentioned that the only difference is the side steps says MDX instead of Acura.

My Dealer said my old 2001 Side Steps would not fit the 2004 MDX.
He may have just wanted me to buy the new one. Not sure. |

| Okay I just found out. the 04 has cut outs on the ends. that fit snug under the grey plastic below and the brackets are different. as for the the boards they have no lettering on them. i just installed them today. |
