| IIHS Says MDX Has Better-Than-Average Injury and Collision Losses

The MDX's injury losses are substantially better than average, while its collision losses are better than average. Theft losses are average.
This is partly the general safety of the vehicle, and partly the vehicle's demographics. E.g. a Buick Rendezvous does better than the MDX in these "real-world" losses, but you also figure that there are a lot of older, more cautious drivers in Buicks.
For theft, the vehicle's desirability to thieves obviously affects the numbers. |
