Hey folks,
Can someone please post a pic (close up) of their passenger side engine mount? I have a dealer (other than the one I bought my X from) who claims that the engine mount is "tweaked," an indication that my CERTIFIED 02 X that I just bought MIGHT have been involved in an accident (ugh).
However, in looking at the wheel well and engine firewall, I can't see ANY damage (I'm pretty good at finding these things and carfax came back with nuttin'). I'm wondering if the engine mount is simply going bad and the dealer is giving a hard time. It does look a little "tweaked," but I want to compare it to others before attacking the dealer I bought it from.
Thx! |

| I don't think a vehicle that was involved in an accident prevent it from being Certifitied. |

If I understand your statement correctly, wouldn't a car, that has an extended warranty, be void from repairs (for example, suspension), if the car was in an accident? That is stipulated in the contract.
What is the point of having a 7yr powertrain warranty if the powertrain is void from repairs because of a non-disclosed accident? |

Welp...I took the MDX back to the dealer and sure nuff, the engine mount went bad.
Now, I need to take care of the squishy noise coming from the front :( |
