Is there a way to make the light sensor more sensitive? I find myself turning the lights on manually quite a bit, and as we get more misty snowy mornings, it would be nice if the lights would just turn on automatically. (No, I am not interested in using the fog lights at daytime running lights... I just want the auto-headlights to turn on at a lower threshold of darkness.)
Thanks in advance! |

| I think there's another forum somewhere on this site that discusses this problem. There were multiple suggestions, with the best probably being use of an exposed negative placed directly over the sensor. Good luck. |

I found a problem with this idea, though. THe MDX uses this same light sensor as an input to the Air Conditioning system. It figures when there's more sun, the AC needs to get cranked up a bit more. Not that I ever noticed it, but who knows? |

| I have a radar detector about 3 inches above the sensor. The lights come on perferctly for me. |
