I wasn't going to mention this at first, but hey, it's my MDX, (& so what if you think I'm crazy:p ) I had the '02 MDX & it had the Goodyear Integrity's on it. They were ok, but by 22k miles on them, they were like "mush", even w/ lots of tread left. SO, w/ the '03, I went to my bud at the Goodyear store, (we've bought lots of tires from him) & said "I'd like to get better tires, but I'm not financially set great right now, so what could you do". He gave me a great trade-in on the Integ's & I decided on the new Fortera HL's. I did a search on tirerack.com, looked at hiway, all season tires, & the top three were,
1. Geolander (?) by Yokahama
2. Cross Terrain SUV Michelen (Sound familiar?)
3. Fortera HL Goodyear!

It was only 1 tenth of a point behind the Cross Terrains on overall satisfaction. I can't do anything about getting Michelens, & w/ the trade -in value for the Integrity's, I could afford to do this NOW. I will keep all interested posted about how they feel. So far.....
Better "feel" of the road. (Not flimsy type responce)
somewhat better cornering, but better stering responce for sure!
Better braking. WOW Doesn't feel like "rolling mush" trying to stop!

I know, I know. Pictures! I'll get some..
That's my story, sorry it's long post but I'm excited about the tires.
(Suppose 2 be much better on wet & snow! We'll see) :2:

EXCALIBUR
Lrpba300,

On your new tires, did you go with the OEM 235/65 17R sizing?
Lrpba300
I know those w/ Cross Terrains are saying, yah, so...well, Integrity people can relate!

just one more..I will get them finished up tomorrow. I had just got home w/ them on:rolleyes:
Lrpba300
Yes, EXCALIBUR. They have them in the STOCK size. One of the other reasons to go w/ these tires!

Lrpba300,

How is the noise level on these tires? And how much is the regular price?

Thanks,
Lrpba300
Noise is not bad at all. Just slightly more than the GY Integrety's. Regular price was $124.95 @, but I didn't pay that w/ the tradein's!

Someone actually gave you trade-in value for tires w/ 22k on them??? Wow, I would have thought that they would have looked at you like you were a :jester:

Sounds like a wash. You got new tires by trading in your old tires and did not have to pay anything? Such a deal.:4:
Lrpba300
MG Pilot.. NO, that was the mileage on my '02 MDX. This is an '03 MDX I just got & had about 950 miles on the GY Integrity's!

EXCALIBUR, No, I still had to pay, just not full price. He gave me a $200 credit for the Integ. TOWARDS the Fortera's. Was well worth the money though, IMHO! :4: :4:
Captain MDX
Not a big fan of Goodyear, sorry

I thought the name was Badyear :D
I'm seriously thinking about losing my crappy Integritys, which have a good amount of thread left. They are just so crappy!!!
Lrpba300
Well, I had to go w/ goodyears b/c that's whats on the MDX (Integrity's) & my friend at the Goodyear store could make me a deal on those tires towards the Fortera's. He couldn't do anything on the Michelens
