Hi All,

This site was very valuable for making my decision to purchase MDX.

I bought Acura MDX 2003 used with 17000 miles.

I am planning to get chrome side steps installed.

Bought Cargo Tray, Cargo Net, All Season weather mats, Sunshade
from hondacuraworld.com

Silver/Quartz/Touring/Navigation/Backup Camera

Hi, Rocky 1908!

Congrats on your MDX! I have a question ... it seems that you've been going through the posts, which helped you in making the choice of going with the MDX and not other vehicles. As such, I'll assume that you're aware of the MDX's sloshing/thumping issue. I'm curious ... why did you still choose the MDX?

I'd love to see the pictures!

Thanks,
J.

Interesting question. Would a relatively minor issue prevent anyone from getting an overall great vehicle? I'll take my small annoyances (ridiculous HVAC controls, peeling wheel emblems, poor window squeegee, undersize gas tank, navi non-updates (!!), etc.) to enjoy all the other good stuff. :4:

Thanks a lot for all the wishes !!

jkgtnp- I am not sure about the problem. But there are some pros and cons for any vehicle.

I am interested to install Xenox lights and BSM. Can someone give me some information.

Congrats on the purchase...I don't think you will be disappointed. Do you mind me asking what you paid for it? Just curious, since mine is an '03 with about the same mileage...just trying to get an idea of what mine would be worth. Thanks.

Welcome rocky,
Do a search. There are a lot of threads on both Xenons and BSMs. The newer BSMs look like they protect a bit better than the earlier ones. The Xenons are a great addition and I won't buy another vehicle without (installing) them. Good luck with everything and enjoy the ride.
