I think this problem is starting to happening again since the temperature dropped. I started the car without second try but had to hold on to the key for additional 1-2 seconds.

Anyone experiencing the samething after temperature drop?

Yep. I have noticed mine has a hard start shortly after stopping the engine and then restarting. Unfortunately it does not happen every time.

When it becomes chronic it will go back to the dealer for some analysis.

I've been having the same sporadic starting problem with only
1500 miles on my 03.

I've tried leaving the key in untill all the instrument lights
stop blinking and beeping before I crank it.

Also tried using a consistent key that didn't interfer
with the imbolizer.

Then I read the manual and acura recommeds stepping
on the brake pedal before cranking which I've never done
on any of my previous cars. This seemed to have lessen
the frequency of the starting issue but maybe its just
all in my head that stepping on the brake pedal before
starting helps even remotely......
