Hi All:
___Just read up on a shootout between the Cadillac SRX, Infiniti FX45, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Toureg in the latest Car & Driver. Guess which vehicle came out on top? This includes some of the best that Europe, Japan, and America have to offer. Final tally ... American Big Iron took top honors! The VW finished in fourth, Infiniti in third, Porsche in second, and the Cadillac SRX finished first. I will have to read the article cover to cover the next time I am in the Jewel to see exactly what they loved about the SRX but that is how they rated them and they usually do a great job in their shootouts.
___Good Luck

| I wonder if C&D really does a great job sometimes. Heck, the pre-production Touareg V8 finished first among a previous SUV shoot-out in C&D, beating vehicles like the X5, MDX, and GX470. Now it finishes last in a comparo with a different set of vehicles. Strange. |

Check out which automobile manufacturers have the biggest ads in C&D. That will give you an idea of who will win the next comparo.:4: |

| Yeah, C&D scores really low with me - very subjective, hype-based data. I like Motor Trend better. |

And their editorials are a little bit right of Genghis Kahn!
They even tried to defend the Ford Excursion a behemoth if there ever was one!
And remember a few years ago they gave the "Car of the Year" award to the Chevrolet Impala - which every other magazine called a "BEACHED WHALE". |

I REALLY enjoyed this month's characterization of Bill O'Reilly as some kind of eastern intellectual! What a hoot! |
