I bought my X in late 03 before they came out with the new 04 accessories and purchased the older rear spoiler. Now Im wondering if its worth getting rid of it for the new one. Seems like such a waste to swap it out.
Does the new spoiler mount in the same holes? |

what color is that? Sagebrush? it looks like a dark grey to me, it must be the light hitting it a certain way.

The color is Sage Brush. Yea it must be the lighting.
I'll let you know asn if I decide to sell it.
The wheels are actually stock size so I still have the stock rims
but used my original tires. |

| I noticed much more dust on my back window on my 04 MDX without the air deflector. My 01 with the air deflector was able to keep the dust off the window very well. I just installed the 04 spoiler, but I have not yet seen if it keeps dust off the back window. Maybe in another week of driving I can tell. The new 04 Spoiler does not have a air deflector built in to keep air moving on the back window. |

| This model looks like it functions more a true spoiler (hence the name) .... it deflects the air up instead of down over the glass ... so I doubt it will keep the rear glass as clean as the deflector did. That's also probably why it requires the two additional bolts in the middle ... to keep the center of the leading edge from lifting/torquing due to the downforce on the trailing edge at higher speeds. |

I also bought the '03 with the wind deflector. I liked it until I saw the spoiler's on the '04. Definitely not worth paying twice for, but if I had it to do all over again, I would go for the spoiler.
