What is the oil capacity for the 03 MDX? The manual says 4.5 quarts including the filter, the dealer just charged me for 5 quarts on an oil and filter change.
I know this does not sound like a big thing but if the stealership scams a 1/2 quart from every oil change they can do every 10th oil change at no cost to them for the oil.
What has been the experience of the DIY people on the board? To get a fill to the full line (rather than just the add line) does it take 4.5 or 5 quarts with a standard Acura filter?
I tried search but didn't come up with anything definite.

| With filter change it is 5 liters, that is ~5.3 quarts. |

Hi BobInMN:
___Just had the Wal-Mart Mobil1 5W-30 synthetic and Supertech oil and filter change on our 03 MDX. ~ 4-2/3 qt’s and the tech capped the last quart’s leftover so I could take it home with me. Dipstick is dead nuts on the full mark when hot.
