Sorry to bother you guys but I couldn't help noticing that the VIN ranges posted by srpbep for the timing belt tensioner TSB/recall seem to apply to MY 2001 MDX!!

My VIN is: 2HNYD1827 1H 505236

Of Course, my dealer's service rep (very nice people--really!) assures me that the TSB/recall doesn't apply to my 01.

So what do you guys think?? Does the TSB apply to me or am I just reading the VIN wrong?? This kind of thing really confuses us non-technical types!

No it does not apply to you. I belive the reason you're confused has to do with the number preceding the H. In your case it's a 1, which should refer to a 2001 model.....the TSB has a 2 before the H for the 2002 model.
