When I do 7500 miles, I told my dealer not to perfome VTM change.
But they did it anyway!!
and Now...I need to do 15000 mile service. The Question is...
I tell them not to do VTM change ? or just leave it to them ?
My guts saying not to do VTM change but who knows....If that thing
went bad last 7500 period miles....I gonna have change it.
Anyone has any idea ?? |

I would ask the dealer to do one of the following:
1. Perform a free 15000 VTM change since it was their mistake in doing it at 7500 miles,
or
2. Get in writing a letter stating that no 15000 vtm change is needed since it was done by the dealership at 7500 miles. |

I just paid $14.95 for a gallon of VTM-4 fluid from my local Honda dealer, $1.50 for an 18mm crush washer (drain; they did not have the 20mm fill washer so I reused the orig. one :8: ) and $7 for a differential fluid hand pump. The fluid change involves removing a drain plug and pumping back in new fluid through the fill plug until it runs out. A quick drive around the block and top it off. 30 mins tops! There are many pics and info in this site under VTM-4. This was my 1st change and it was a snap. The removal of the spare tire does make it easier to access the fill plug.
Good luck with whatever you choose!:31: |
