Power Seat Memory Fuse? - Click HERE for Original Thread

On a recent long trip, I started my X with a power inverter on and PS2/TV plugged in. This evidently blew the fuse for my stereo and trip computer. I was able to replace a fuse in the passenger side fuse box and thought all was well.

I then noticed that my power seat memory light was off and would not allow me to reset my power seat memory locations. I assume I may have blown another fuse during my original problem, but can't figure out what fuse to check in the manual.

Anyone have any ideas?

Fuses used in this circuit are fuse 13 (7.5A) in the passenger's underdash fuse box, fuses 4 & 9 (7.5A ea, although F9 is also listed as 10A) in the driver's underdash fuse box, fuse 6 (15A) in the driver's side box, fuses 2 & 4 (20A ea) in the passenger's side box. 'Tain't a simple circuit!

Thanks for your response. You have left me a little confused, however!

I have checked fuse 6 in the driver's side box and fuses 2&4 in the passenger's side box and all are OK. I don't know where the passenger or driver under dash boxes are. My manual shows where the under-HOOD boxes are on both sides, but their numbering and amperages don't coincide with your notes.

Are there other boxes under the dash that are not listed in the manual? If so, how do I get to them? I assume all the fuses are in the same location in my 2002 as they are in your 2001 model.

Again, thanks!

That's their terminology, not mine! Driver's side -- above and to the left of the parking brake pedal. Pass. side -- behind right kick panel, beneath and to the right of the glove box. That's probably where you were already.

I'll try it again tonight, thanks.

Well, no luck on the specified fuses so I reverted back to the tried and true brute force approach - I removed and reinserted all the underdash fuses in both boxes. None were blown, but this magically fixed the problem somehow.

Thanks again for your ideas.
