After reading all the posts regarding the merits of the Silverstar headlights I went out and bought two sets (9005/9006). The pins on the X's low beam connector do not line up with the Silverstar bulbs (too narrow). The highbeam pins do line up but I just need to cut out the small 'rib' on the lamp as the connector has two slots for the stock bulb that has two ribs.
Am I missing something?
PS sorry but I could not find any threads that deal with Silverstar compatability with the 04 X. |

| `04 doesn't use 9006 for the low beam. What was it, H11? |

Oops.
Just checked the Sylvania site and it lists an H1. Is that the bulb I need? |

What is the model number to use for Low/High beam? It did not list the 2004 model on Sylvania's website.
