So, after spending a few hours scanning posts of people doing NAVI conversions, this is what I know.

1.) People modifed Pioneer AV-RGB1 to make it work.
2.) Sadly, the AV-RGB1 is discontinued. (But some people can still find it, here and there.) My question to you is where?!
3.) Some people found this site that carries an equalivalent.

Here are my questions to all....

1.) Is there something close to plug and play solution for Navi conversion?

2.) Are there any US-based companys selling a COMPOSITE-TO-RGB VIDEO ADAPTER that can work with the MDX? (If I have to, I'll give Australia a ring and have them send me on, but I find it hard to imagine that they are the only company on the planet to have such as gizmo!)

Cool! Have you installed it? If so, where did you put the "Big box"?

I'm not sure the links work. If not, search on Navi Conversion

I miss this feature so I'm trying to look for someone to do this for me. I was very fortunate to spec a Pioneer AV-RGB1 when I did and for $ 150 with actual mods. I do like all the extra features that the avelectronic comes with and I think the price is worth it to get a plug and play unit.
