Nice pics. I see a MD flag in the background of one of oyur pics. What part of MD are you from and which dealership did you go to?
Love the color. My GG will arrive in Annapolis in the next few weeks.
Thanks guys. It is a beatiful color, so I had to get the twin sister in the same color. : )

SHYGUY21: I am from Gaithersburg and bought the car from Rosenthal Acura. Steve Dorfam was the sales person. Excelent sales person.
These are the pictures.

My business partner like the GG MDX so much that he decided to get one too.

After much delay, I am going to look at a GG model in person (already sold) and if my wife likes it, it looks like we will be ordering one (then only a 4 month wait until we get ours). Congrats on yours.

Congratulations El-MDX!!!

Nice color. I hadn't given serious thought to the GG until I saw your pics. Now I may reconsider.
Enjoy
Thanks for the pics EL-MDX. I am considering removing the roof rack and these pictures have helped me see what my new GG MDX will look like with + without the roof rack...

As many of you know, I have removed the roof rack from our Mahogany TP w/ Nav. Contrary to what some may think, the primary reason we removed the rack was for the looks. I know this is a very subjective opinion. Some like it with, some without, some are probably neutral.

IMHO, there are three things to consider with regard to having or not having a roof rack:

1) Do you need it? If you need/use the roof rack it is a no brainer!
2) Which look do you prefer? If you do not need or plan to use the rack it merely becomes a decoration.
3) Assuming you do not need it, do you want a quieter vehicle? It is a noisy decoration. However the added noise is very slight.

Again, if you use it the question is moot. But if you do not, then weigh the pros & cons of the added noise vs the decorative value.
Looks great EL-MDX.

I'm scheduled to pick mine up TOMORROW!!!
Rapture,
If you decide to remove your roof rack, will you sell it?
thanks
Sorry for the late response El Che...I was visiting my parents in SC since last Friday. The MDX performed beyond my expectations on the trip home. Cruised @ 85mph and got 22.1 MPG, tried 70MPH and was getting 24 MPG -- but I couldn't stand getting passed again and again.
To answer your question, Yes, I will sell the roof rack.
I haven't checked into taking it off yet, although MS79GT82 has given me explicit directions. I will get it done soon, hopefully...I also haven't checking into how much they are...any ideas...

... $128.70 which of course includes shipping and no tax for outside of NY State.

Fot the moment I am going to hang on to mine. Thule appears to have a nice looking cargo carrier that mounts on the rack. Although I have never needed or used one before, you never know when it may come in handy. It is very easy to mount and remove.
Rapture, glad you had a good trip, I hope mine will give me good gas milage too.

Yeah, the new racks are costing $128 w/ $2 shipping, so I don't know how much you can sell it to me for once you add the shipping costs.
Did I read things wrong? I thought the base had differant wheels than the touring. They look the same to me. Am I blind?
they are different but you need to look at both closely to see the difference..... one of the reasons im not getting the touring option... they could have changed the rims up a little more for that price....
