Has anyone had experience with this yet?

Looks like HP has a bluetooth based GPS/navigation software system for the iPaq. At first check, it looks pretty nice...the interface reminds me a lot of the MDX's (the user manual is online as a PDF, and includes snaps of the major screens). Auto reroute and all, includes car adapter and mount...and eCost has it for $286. Biggest concern is they are fuzzy in that Honda kind of way about when updates will be available...

Anyone have one? I think we may get it for my wife's CR-V...

...FYI, doing some more "digging", the screens look similar to those with the Navman SmartST Pro software...

Actually...This device is great as an extension for the HP iPAQ Pocket PC to use as a mobile NAVIGATION system.

I bought an HP iPAQ Pocket PC with this Navigation extention and the solution is AMAZING!!!!

I used it in my TOURING MDX and on other vehicle with NON-NAVIGATION. It worlks extremely well!

Because my HP iPAQ 5555 runs on Mobile Windows 2003 and the color screen is the non-reflective screen...The color and enhancement of the map is INCREDIBLE!!!

I also have an Ipaq, 3955 with pocket copilot system on it. I love it! I have a windshield mount that I use in my van (till sold, then mdx) Great screen, you have voice directions on it. We have traveled cross country and used it. We had a tire blowout in the middle of nowhere Texas and I was able to tell repair people exactly where we were. I am not buying a MDX with nav because I like my system and I can take it to different cars.

And if you use outlook, you can use the address book to get directions to those also.

I too have the copilot sleve for my Ipaq. I have been useing it for about 2 1/2 years and it is a huge help. Makes it hard to justify $2k for a DVD based in car nav system when you can take the copilot with you in any car i.e. rental, personal etc.
