I'm so used to driving with 1 hand on the wheel and the other hand on the stickshift. (even if its an automatic I still drive with one hand on the wheel). But since owning the X, I could'nt handle it with one. I needed two to keep it still specially on curves.

... both; and I do not mean both hands;)

I sometimes drive with 1 hand and at other times drive with 2 hands.

One hand the majority of the time.

Girl in car with guy who has one hand on the wheel, and the other around her shoulder: "Johnny, you're supposed to use both hands."

Johnny: " I know, but I need one for driving."

I mostly drive with one on the wheel and one on the gear-shifter. I can't help it. The funny thing is that I've never driven a stick-shift...in fact, I don't even know how. The X must be so "sporty", I can't help but drive it that way.

Ditto. I keep one hand on the shifter for some reason.:8:

Depends upon the situation ... left hand almost always on the steering wheel, unless I need that hand to signal another driver (like waving at them to say thanks for letting me in), then ... its the right hand on the steering wheel. However, when the left hand is primary, the right hand may be on the shifter, on my wife's lovely knee or on the steering wheel if the driving conditions warrant (snow, driving rain, highway patrol next to me). Sometimes I do drive without any hands from the passenger seat while giving my wife professional driving advice. :2:
